Miramira’s Journey: How Joining Drua Changed Everything

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flanker Vilive Miramira has stated that joining the franchise has significantly transformed his life. At the Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys Fun Day event in Suva, he referred to his decision to join the Drua as “the best decision of my life.”

Miramira, a former Nadi player, mentioned that being part of the Drua has positively affected him both on and off the field. “I’ve been able to manage my lifestyle better, which in turn improves my performance on the field,” he explained.

Having joined the Drua in 2022, he made his debut against the Waratahs in the first round of that season. The ex-Votualevu College student also shared his aspiration to represent Fiji on a bigger platform.

“I’ve been working hard with the goal of making the national squad. Wearing the national jersey is a dream I hope to fulfill soon,” Miramira revealed.

So far, he has played 30 matches for the Fijian Drua and is anticipated to be a crucial player as the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season approaches early next year. His dedication and development indicate that he will be a player to watch in the upcoming season.
