Five men avoided serious injuries in a truck accident on Queens Road near Emuri in Sigatoka yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, one driver reportedly lost control of his truck, leading to it crossing into the opposite lane and colliding head-on with another vehicle. The second vehicle was driven by a 44-year-old accompanied by three passengers. Both drivers are still hospitalized at Lautoka Hospital, while the three passengers have been treated and discharged. Authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities in the incident.
