Dr. Jemesa Tudravu, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, highlighted the need for modernizing several outdated acts during the public submission of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services 2015-2021 Annual Report last Tuesday, June 25. He mentioned that a request has been made for budgetary support to facilitate the revision of these antiquated acts. Dr. Tudravu said that the department has initiated discussions with government agencies also impacted by these regulations and policies. In a bid to fund these reviews, he expressed hope that their request for financing will be met. The anticipated money would significantly aid in accomplishing these objectives in the upcoming financial year.
