Fijian rugby players Samu Kerevi and Rob Valetini are set to achieve a milestone by making their 50th appearances for the Wallabies in the upcoming match against Wales. This match is scheduled for Monday at 4:10 AM at Principality Stadium.
Kerevi, who has been appointed as the inside centre, is one of six changes to the Wallabies’ lineup following their narrow 42-37 victory over England last week. He will partner with Len Ikitau in the midfield, while Joseph Suaali’i, who previously played in the centres, has been moved to the bench.
In the team’s forward pack, Allan Alaalatoa will replace the injured Taniela Tupou in the front row. Lock Will Skelton returns to the starting lineup, allowing Rob Valetini to shift to number eight. Seru Uru has also been given a starting position at blindside flanker, with Langi Gleeson added as loose forward cover.
The halves will feature Nic White pairing with Noah Lolesio for this important fixture against Wales.
The complete Wallabies lineup includes players like Angus Bell, Matt Faessler, Allan Alaalatoa (captain), and Max Jorgensen, among others, with a strong bench ready to support.
This match not only signifies a personal achievement for Kerevi and Valetini but also underscores the Wallabies’ evolving strategy and depth as they seek to maintain momentum in their season.
Fans can look forward to an exciting match as these players aim to leave their mark on the international stage.
