Veteran Sydney Roosters player Michael Jennings is set to join the Vodafone Fiji Bati for the 2024 Pacific Championship. The 36-year-old center, who previously represented Tonga at the last Rugby League World Cup, adds significant experience to a 21-member squad that is missing several key players due to injuries.
Returning to the Bati team are Kevin Naiqama, Maika Sivo, Waqa Blake, Tui Kamikamica, and Viliame Kikau, alongside Premiership winner Sunia Turuva. The Fiji Bati will kick off their campaign by hosting the Papua New Guinea Kumuls in their opening match on Saturday, October 19th, at the HFC Bank Stadium, starting at 8:10 PM.
