Veteran Sydney Roosters player Michael Jennings will represent the Vodafone Fiji Bati in the upcoming 2024 Pacific Championship. The 36-year-old centre, who previously played for Tonga in the last Rugby League World Cup, adds significant experience to the 21-member squad, which is currently facing injuries to several key players.
Returning to the Bati lineup are Kevin Naiqama, Maika Sivo, Waqa Blake, Tui Kamikamica, and Viliame Kikau, alongside Premiership winner Sunia Turuva. The Bati’s first match will take place next week, hosting the Papua New Guinea Kumuls on Saturday, October 19, at the HFC Bank Stadium, beginning at 8:10 PM.
