Michael Jennings, a seasoned veteran from the Sydney Roosters, will join the Vodafone Fiji Bati for the upcoming 2024 Pacific Championship. The 36-year-old center previously represented Tonga during the last Rugby League World Cup and adds significant experience to the 21-member squad, which is currently missing several key players due to injuries.
Returning to the Bati lineup are Kevin Naiqama, Maika Sivo, Waqa Blake, Tui Kamikamica, and Viliame Kikau, alongside Premiership winner Sunia Turuva. The Fiji Bati will face off against the Papua New Guinea Kumuls in their inaugural match of the tournament on Saturday, October 19th, at HFC Bank Stadium, scheduled for 8:10 PM.
