MHCC Complex in Suva proudly marked its 17th anniversary, continuing to flourish as a premier shopping destination in Fiji. The complex, which was the first of its kind in the country, offers a diverse range of services and products under one roof, making it exceptionally convenient for customers.
Kunaseelan Sabaratnam, Director of Carpenters Finance, emphasized the importance of the complex in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He noted that many local vendors, including those operating pushcarts, have found opportunity within MHCC as they embark on their business journeys. This support of MSMEs highlights the complex’s role in fostering local entrepreneurship and economic growth.
Sabaratnam also revealed plans for enhancements to the complex, including renovations and the addition of a new tower. These improvements are anticipated to increase foot traffic and further enhance the shopping experience for customers, with expectations for a bustling atmosphere by the first week of March.
Since its inception in 2007, MHCC has not only been a cornerstone of retail but has also created numerous job opportunities for Fijians. As the complex continues to celebrate its legacy, it remains dedicated to providing quality services and fostering community growth.
This anniversary serves as a reminder of the positive impact such establishments can have on both local businesses and the economy, contributing to a vibrant shopping culture in Fiji. The continued commitment to renovation and development promises a bright future for MHCC and its patrons.
