The MHCC Complex celebrated its 17th anniversary today, marking a significant milestone in its operation in Suva, Fiji. The complex, noted as the first of its kind in the country, provides a diverse shopping experience under one roof, featuring everything from supermarkets to fashion outlets.
Kunaseelan Sabaratnam, the Director for Carpenters Finance, emphasized the importance of MHCC as a one-stop shopping destination that has greatly benefited both customers and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Fiji. He pointed out that the complex has offered a platform for budding entrepreneurs to start their businesses, often providing the initial opportunity for stall-based sales before they expand.
Looking to the future, Sabaratnam revealed plans for renovations and the addition of a new tower, with expectations that these developments will draw even more visitors to the complex starting in March.
Since its inception in 2007, the MHCC Complex has not only provided essential services and retail options but has also contributed to job creation within the community. This continued growth and community focus signal a positive outlook for the complex and its role in enhancing the shopping landscape in Fiji.
In summary, the MHCC Complex stands as a testament to resilience and adaptability, celebrating nearly two decades of service while remaining committed to supporting local businesses and addressing community needs.
