Today, the MHCC Complex in Suva marks an impressive 17 years of operation, solidifying its position as a pioneering shopping center in Fiji. During a celebration event, Kunaseelan Sabaratnam, Director for Carpenters Finance, highlighted the unique nature of the complex, which has been a hallmark of convenience, offering a diverse range of products and services all under one roof.

Sabaratnam underscored the complex’s vital role in supporting local businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He explained how the facility allows budding entrepreneurs to start their businesses within the complex, providing access to foot traffic and visibility that may be challenging for them to achieve elsewhere.

Furthermore, the complex is undergoing renovations, with plans for a new tower expected to welcome shoppers by the first week of March. Such developments are set to enhance the shopping experience for all visitors.

Since its inception in 2007, MHCC has not only provided an array of shopping options but has also created job opportunities for numerous Fijians, demonstrating its commitment to the community.

The future looks bright for MHCC as it continues to innovate and adapt, ensuring it remains a central hub for shopping and business development in Fiji.

This 17-year celebration is a testament to resilience and community support, highlighting the importance of local businesses in driving the economy.
