Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School (MGM) made a remarkable comeback at the Suva Zone One Athletics competition, successfully defending their titles in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. The boys’ team, initially trailing Ratu Sukuna Memorial School, achieved an impressive medal tally with 13 gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals.
Ratu Sukuna Memorial School secured second place with eight gold, seven silver, and eight bronze medals, while Dudley High School placed third, claiming five gold, seven silver, and nine bronze.
In the girls’ division, MGM topped the field, amassing a staggering 35 gold, 23 silver, and nine bronze medals. Ratu Sukuna Memorial School also performed well, finishing second with eight gold, four silver, and six bronze, while Dudley High School occupied third place with two gold, three silver, and six bronze medals.
