Melbourne secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Sigatoka in their final pool match of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup held in Sydney, keeping their hopes of advancing to the top 16 alive.

After suffering a 2-1 defeat to Wellington earlier in the day, Melbourne bounced back with a strong performance, scoring through Vinayak Rao, Nikil Ram, and two goals from Nickhil Kumar. This marked Melbourne’s second win of the tournament.
