Melbourne Storm has announced that Tui Kamikamica, the captain of the Fiji Bati rugby league team, will continue his tenure with the club after signing a new one-year contract that extends through the 2026 NRL season. Kamikamica, who is player number 181 for the Storm, has made a notable impact since his debut against the Penrith Panthers in 2017, accumulating 138 appearances to date.

Over the last three seasons, the Fijian international has played in more than 20 matches each year, including an impressive 24 games in 2025. His leadership qualities have earned him a spot in the Storm’s leadership group for the past two years, and he has also served as the captain of the Fiji Bati since 2023, earning 23 caps on the international stage.

In expressing his enthusiasm for re-signing, Kamikamica highlighted the significance of Melbourne in his career. He stated, “Storm was the first club to give me an opportunity to play NRL. It has always been an honour to wear the purple jersey, and I’m excited to remain in Melbourne for 2026 and continue playing alongside my teammates.”
