Round three of the OFC Pro League is set to take place in Melbourne, Australia, beginning next weekend. This stage of the league will feature a total of 15 matches held across two venues: the Home of the Matildas and Olympic Village. The matches are scheduled from February 21 to March 4.

In a notable matchup, Extra Bula FC will face Vanuatu United next Saturday at Olympic Park. Each of the eight competing clubs will play at least three matches, with six teams scheduled for four, thanks to the rescheduling of three fixtures from the first round.

Currently, South Melbourne FC remains the only undefeated team in the league, having achieved three wins and two draws over their five games. They are positioned second in the standings, trailing Auckland FC but with a game in hand. The team is optimistic about overtaking their rivals, particularly with an upcoming clash against Auckland FC on February 21.

Bula FC is currently sitting in fifth place in the Pro League standings. Meanwhile, Alex Saniel, a forward for Vanuatu United and former Suva representative, has made waves this season by setting two significant records. He scored the league’s inaugural goal at Eden Park and set the record for the fastest goal, netting one just 57 seconds into their second-round match against South Melbourne.
