Melania Tora, an ambitious 24-year-old contestant for the 2024 Miss Hibiscus title, dreams of establishing a rehabilitation center in Fiji aimed at providing free mental health care and support to the country’s vulnerable populations. Proudly representing the family-owned business Tents & Awnings, Melania is currently pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at The University of the South Pacific.
Having previously graduated with distinction from Deakin University in Victoria, Australia, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Psychology degree, she also holds a Diploma in Arts and Psychology from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her academic achievements and dedication to psychology are paving her way toward a career as a clinical psychologist.
Outside her studies, Melania enjoys listening to music and podcasts, working out at the gym, and spending time with friends. Her commitment to enhancing mental health services in Fiji and her diverse interests make her an inspiring contestant in this year’s competition.
