Melania Tora, an ambitious contestant for the 2024 Miss Hibiscus title, aspires to open a rehabilitation center in Fiji aimed at providing free mental health care for the country’s vulnerable population. The 24-year-old is currently representing Tents & Awnings while pursuing her master’s degree in psychology at The University of the South Pacific.
She graduated with distinction from Deakin University in Victoria, Australia, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Psychology degree. She also holds a Diploma in Arts and Psychology from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Melania’s strong academic background, coupled with her passion for psychology, is guiding her toward a career as a clinical psychologist.
In addition to her educational and career pursuits, Melania enjoys listening to music and podcasts, working out at the gym, and spending time with friends. Her diverse interests and commitment to enhancing mental health services in Fiji make her a notable and inspiring contestant in this year’s Miss Hibiscus competition.
