Fiji Airways is proudly showcasing local chocolate artisan Fijiana Cacao through its Meet the Makers campaign, which honors the creative talents behind its acclaimed inflight dining offerings.
Fijiana Cacao, a family-owned business established by Tomohito and Harumi Zukoshi, plays a key role in the airline’s Pacific Rim cuisine, a concept that earned the prestigious Best Food and Beverage Innovation award at the 2026 APEX IFSA Awards.
Passengers across all classes are treated to Fijiana Cacao’s artisanal chocolates. Business Class travelers savor a unique blend featuring Christmas Island sea salt and roasted cacao nibs, while Economy Class passengers enjoy a 55 percent dark chocolate crafted from locally harvested cacao.
The company prides itself on sourcing wild cacao from local farmers throughout Fiji, ensuring that the entire production process takes place within the country, thereby supporting rural communities.
Fiji Airways emphasizes that this partnership underscores its dedication to elevating Fijian products on a global scale, offering travelers an authentic taste of Fiji’s rich cultural and culinary heritage. This initiative not only enhances the inflight experience but also fosters local economic growth, highlighting the airline’s commitment to sustainability and community support.
