The Marist Brothers High School (MBHS) Under-15 rugby team honored the memory of Senitiki Kuruvakadua’s late father with a 22-7 victory over Gospel High School (GHS) in the semi-finals of the Vodafone Deans Trophy.
MBHS U15 head coach Jone Temo shared his thoughts on the win, attributing it to divine support. He emphasized the importance of improving line speed and defensive tactics at halftime to overcome a challenging Gospel squad.
As they prepare for the final against Suva Grammar School, Temo noted that the team would strengthen their overall conditioning. He mentioned that while most players are strong athletes with good fitness levels, they are managing a few minor injuries but expect everyone to be ready for the championship match.
