Akuila Mateisuva, the goalkeeper for Suva, has been named captain of the Digicel Bula Boys for the upcoming Tri-Nations series against the Solomon Islands and Hong Kong-China. The matches will take place in Suva and Lautoka.

Mateisuva expressed his gratitude for being given this opportunity, especially after previously missing games due to work obligations. He is eager to take on the challenges posed by these two matches and has urged local fans to come out and support the team.

“The team has prepared well, but we will need all our supporters at the stadium to back the boys. Be our 12th man and support us as we strive to give our best for Fiji in these two matches,” he stated.

Fiji is scheduled to compete against the Solomon Islands at 7 PM tonight at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, followed by a match against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 PM at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
