Matailobau’s $34,600 Boost: Transforming Community Life

The village of Matailobau in Naitasiri has been allocated $34,600 for community development projects, as announced by Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Culture, and Heritage Ifereimi Vasu. This funding, which will be disbursed within the week, is part of the government’s Village Improvement Scheme aimed at enhancing local infrastructure and living conditions.

During his address, the minister praised the community members for their commitment to progress and for their active involvement in the development initiatives supported by the government. The projects will include improvements to community centers, water supply systems, and educational facilities, as well as the installation of solar power solutions to increase reliability and accessibility to energy.
