The sixteenth annual National Tooth Brushing Day, supported by Colgate-Palmolive (Fiji) and backed by the Education and Health Ministries, saw 175,877 participants nationwide.

The event featured a central celebration at Rishikul Primary School and was attended by Health & Medical Services Minister Dr. Atonio Rabici Lalabalavu.

Colgate’s ‘Adopt a School’ program involved employees engaging with schoolchildren to promote dental care and good oral hygiene practices.

The ‘Bright Smiles, Bright Futures’ initiative included distributing toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as educating children on proper brushing techniques.

The event concluded with a countdown, the ‘Brush Off,’ refreshments, and media interviews, showcasing a community commitment to oral health.
