Rakiraki police have conducted a raid on a farm, resulting in the seizure of over 600 plants suspected to be marijuana. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu reported that the operation took place in the interior of Nalawa. Alongside the plants, authorities confiscated branches and sacks filled with green leaves, also believed to be marijuana. During the raid, three men were arrested and are currently in police custody. ACP Driu noted that law enforcement continues to make significant seizures of both white and green drugs across the five policing divisions, as efforts intensify to target those involved in the distribution of illicit substances.
