Massive Church Project to Unite 40,000 Worshippers!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is set to construct a church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 individuals. This announcement was made by ANCF’s general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Rev. Ratabacaca indicated that the tournament serves as a fundraising initiative for the church project. The church will be built on a 25-acre plot of land dedicated to this facility, which he noted would be accessible for events conducted by all Christian denominations.

“We have been inspired to create this facility for the entire body of Christ,” he stated, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to undertake this project. He emphasized that the church would not only benefit ANCF but also serve other Christian communities for their conferences and gatherings.

The Reverend also highlighted concerns regarding the use of sports grounds for worship, pointing out that venues like the Vodafone Arena in Suva incurred nearly half a million dollars for a week-long Methodist Church conference. He stressed that such locations are not appropriate for worship, particularly in inclement weather when attendees may become uncomfortable.

“This facility will be built to ensure we can worship God in comfort,” Rev. Ratabacaca concluded.
