Massive Church Project to Unite 40,000 Worshippers!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is planning to construct a church capable of accommodating 40,000 congregants. This announcement was made by ANCF General Superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Reverend Ratabacaca stated that the tournament is intended to raise funds for the proposed project. He mentioned that the church will be built on a 25-acre site.

“This facility will serve all Christian denominations for their events,” he added.

He emphasized the motivation behind the facility is to support the entire Christian community, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to lead this initiative.

“This church will not only be for us but will also be available for other Christian groups to use for conferences,” he noted.

Reverend Ratabacaca also pointed out that sports arenas are unsuitable venues for worship. He provided an example, referencing the Methodist Church Conference that took place at the Vodafone Arena in Suva, costing nearly half a million dollars for a week.

“Venues such as sports grounds and the Vodafone Arena are not appropriate houses of worship. Many Christian conferences are held in such locations, and attendees often get wet and cold during rainy conditions,” he remarked.

He emphasized that this new facility aims to provide a comfortable environment for worship.
