Massive Church Project to Serve 40,000 Unveiled by ANCF

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is planning to construct a church that will accommodate a congregation of up to 40,000 attendees. This announcement was made by ANCF’s general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Rev. Ratabacaca explained that the tournament serves as a fundraising effort for the new project. He shared that the church has received a 25-acre plot of land designated for this facility, which aims to serve all Christian denominations for various events.

He expressed a strong commitment to building this space for the larger Christian community, highlighting their gratitude for being chosen to undertake such an endeavor. Rev. Ratabacaca emphasized that the new church facility would not only serve their congregation but also be available for other Christian groups to hold conferences.

Additionally, he noted that using sports venues for worship isn’t suitable. He referenced the Methodist Church Conference that took place at Vodafone Arena in Suva, which incurred significant expenses for just one week. He remarked on the discomfort experienced by attendees at outdoor sports venues during inclement weather, stressing the need for a dedicated worship space.

“This facility will be built for us to feel comfortable when worshipping God,” Rev. Ratabacaca concluded.
