Two men in their twenties have been charged and brought before the court in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred in Tamavua last month. According to a statement from the police, the suspects, aged 29 and 27, allegedly broke into the residence of a 46-year-old man on October 30, stealing cash, a mobile phone, and various items before making their escape.
The two men were apprehended last week and have since been charged with aggravated robbery. They appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court on November 4, 2024, where they were remanded in custody. Their case has been scheduled for mention again on November 18.
