Maryann Macedru, a standout athlete from Saint Joseph High School, exhibited exceptional talent at the Fiji Finals competition by winning the gold medal in the intermediate girls’ shot put. “I’ve been working hard since the competition last year, and breaking my record has always been the gold since. At the moment, I am working towards making the national team for the Mini Games in Palau in a few months’ time,” Macedru shared, reflecting on her diligent preparation and aspirations.
