Last night, a man from Navua was arrested by the Fiji Police Force after being found in possession of illicit drugs during a comprehensive search of his home. This operation was carried out in collaboration with the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU), who executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence.

K9 Herb, a trained drug detection dog, played a crucial role in identifying specific areas where the drugs were concealed. Police discovered a total of 171 dried plants, believed to be marijuana, hidden throughout the house, including beneath a mattress, inside a wardrobe, and under the kitchen table. The suspect is currently in police custody while investigations are ongoing.
