In a significant law enforcement operation, officers from the Western Division Serious Organised Crime Intelligence Department executed two raids in Malua Range, Navosa, resulting in the confiscation of over 2,000 plants suspected to be marijuana.
The raids were initiated based on intelligence regarding marijuana cultivation in the area. Officers navigated the challenging terrain and spent a night in the highlands to locate the farms, ultimately uncovering more than 1,800 plants at one site, alongside over 900 plants at another farm, with heights ranging from 10 cm to 2.5 meters.
