Rakiraki Police conducted a raid on a farm today, resulting in the seizure of over 600 plants believed to be marijuana. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu reported that the operation took place in the interior region of Nalawa. In addition to the plants, authorities confiscated branches and sacks filled with green leaves thought to be marijuana. During the raid, three men were apprehended and are currently in police custody. The head of Fiji Police Operations indicated that the seizure of both white and green drugs continues across the five policing divisions, as the police intensify their focus on those involved in the distribution of illegal substances.
