Rakiraki Police conducted a raid today on a farm, resulting in the seizure of over 600 plants suspected to be marijuana. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, reported that the operation took place in the interior of Nalawa. In addition to the plants, law enforcement also confiscated branches and sacks of green leaves believed to be marijuana. During the raid, three men were arrested and are currently in police custody. The head of Fiji Police Operations noted that seizures of both white and green drugs are ongoing across the five policing divisions as authorities intensify efforts against those involved in the distribution of illegal substances.
