Major Drug Bust: Two Arrested in Southern Division!

Police have apprehended two individuals following the discovery of dried leaves believed to be marijuana in their possession. The operation, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu, took place at the suspects’ residence on Cunningham Old Road, resulting in the confiscation of over 40 large parcels, more than 400 sachets, and a bottle of seeds, all suspected to be marijuana.

ACP Driu highlighted the significance of this raid within the Southern Division, as the substances were intended for sale. Authorities are intensifying their investigation into the origins of the drugs and potential financial crimes linked to their distribution. With the festive season approaching, there is often an uptick in drug trafficking as individuals look for ways to earn extra income for celebrations.
