Rakiraki Police conducted a raid today at a farm where they confiscated over 600 plants believed to be marijuana. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu reported that the operation took place in the interior region of Nalawa. In addition to the marijuana plants, authorities seized branches and sacks containing green leaves also suspected to be marijuana. During the raid, three men were arrested and are currently in police custody. The head of Fiji Police Operations noted that seizures of both white and green drugs continue across the five policing divisions as the police intensify their efforts against those involved in the distribution of illegal substances.
