Major Drug Bust: Over 600 Marijuana Plants Found in Fiji Farm Raid

Rakiraki police conducted a raid on a farm and confiscated over 600 plants suspected to be marijuana. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, reported that the operation took place in the remote area of Nalawa. In addition to the plants, officials seized branches and bags of green leaves thought to be marijuana. Three men were apprehended during the raid and are currently in police custody. ACP Driu stated that police continue to make drug seizures across all five policing divisions as they intensify their efforts against those supplying illegal substances.
