A collaborative task force consisting of officers from the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Fiji Detector Dog Unit (FDDU), and the Divisional Operations Team successfully executed a raid in Nadonumai today. This operation led to the arrest of three individuals for allegedly possessing illegal drugs.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu highlighted that the task force was sent to Nadonumai to conduct two separate raids. One operation resulted in the discovery of substances believed to be marijuana, as well as gadgets suspected to be stolen and equipment that could be linked to the packaging of illicit drugs.
The three arrested men are currently in custody at Lami Police Station as investigations are underway. ACP Driu mentioned that the focus of law enforcement during this festive season is to disrupt criminal networks and apply pressure on their activities through such operations.
