Rakiraki police executed a raid on a farm where they confiscated over 600 plants suspected to be marijuana. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, confirmed that the raid took place in the remote area of Nalawa. In addition to the 600 plants, authorities also seized branches and bags of green leaves thought to be marijuana. During the operation, three men were arrested and are currently in police custody. The head of Fiji Police Operations noted that the seizure of both hard and soft drugs continues across the five policing divisions, as the police intensify efforts to target individuals involved in the distribution of illegal substances.
