The Fiji Police Force has reported that 18 individuals are receiving medical care at Lautoka Hospital following a significant collision this afternoon involving a bus and a 4×4 vehicle. The incident took place around 2:45 PM on King’s Road in Vitogo when the 4×4, which was exiting Vitogo Road, collided with the bus that was on its route from Lautoka to Ba. The force of the crash caused the bus to overturn onto its driver’s side. Among those injured is the driver of the 4×4 vehicle. Authorities have stated that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is currently underway.
