Fiji Bati winger Maika Sivo has been released from his contract with the Parramatta Eels for the 2025 season, allowing him to explore new opportunities to advance his career.
The NRL club expressed their appreciation for Sivo, noting that he has been a key player since joining in 2019 when he led the league in tries. Over his 115 games with the team, Sivo has brought excitement and strength to the field, winning the hearts of fans known as the Blue and Gold Army.
General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill extended heartfelt thanks to Sivo, his partner Korina, and his family for their contributions to the team. He conveyed best wishes for their future pursuits, both in rugby league and in life, stating, “Maika will always be a part of the Eels family, and we look forward to seeing him succeed in the next chapter of his career.”
