LTA Welcomes New CEO: A Vision for the Future

The Land Transport Authority Board of Directors has appointed Irimaia Rokosawa as the new Chief Executive Officer. With over twenty years of experience in financial management and public service, Rokosawa is expected to lead the organization effectively. LTA Board Chairperson Inosi Kuridrani expressed confidence in Rokosawa’s capability to enhance service delivery, innovation, and operational efficiency within LTA. Kuridrani praised Rokosawa’s contributions as Acting CEO over the past several months, affirming that his leadership will help maintain LTA’s commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient land transport services for all Fijians.

Rokosawa has held various significant positions within the LTA and other important government and financial institutions. His leadership skills were recognized when he was appointed Interim Deputy Chairperson of the Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji (ACCF) in April 2024, underscoring his dedication to public service and advancing the interests of Fijians. Rokosawa’s official appointment as CEO of LTA will take effect on October 1.
