Starting from January 1, 2025, the prices for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products, diesel, and kerosene will see an increase. The cost of a 4.5 kg gas cylinder will rise to $15.53, marking an increase of 18 cents from the previous price of $15.35. Meanwhile, a 12 kg cylinder will now be priced at $41.42 after an increase of 50 cents.

In bulk sales, gas prices will increase by four cents, bringing the new cost to $3.20 per kg. Autogas will also see a slight uptick, with its price rising by three cents to $2.25 per litre.

Additionally, Diesel and kerosene will experience a price increase of four cents per litre. The updated retail price for diesel will be $2.31 per litre, while kerosene will now cost $1.78 per litre. However, the prices for motor spirit and premix will remain the same, at $2.67 per litre and $2.51 per litre, respectively.

This adjustment in fuel prices, while impacting consumers, highlights the ongoing fluctuations in the energy market. As fuel prices continue to change, it remains essential for consumers to stay informed and seek alternative energy sources or efficiency measures where possible.
