Only love has the power to eliminate hatred and darkness, according to Tokasa Nadagalu, who was crowned Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua last Saturday night.
Nadagalu, a 19-year-old contestant sponsored by the Tavualevu community, hails from Tavua Village. She was raised by relatives following her father’s departure from the family, and her mother passed away when she was just 14.
During her crowning speech, she encouraged her peers with the message, “Never Give Up.” The newly crowned queen expressed that her achievement was a result of her faith in God.
Quoting the renowned Mother Teresa, she emphasized, “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.” Nadagalu also extended her gratitude to Vodafone Fiji, the event’s major sponsor, as well as her community sponsors, including Krishna Goundar.
