A woman has been taken into custody following her alleged involvement in the sale of liquor without a license in Tacirua. Officers from the Valelevu Police Station conducted a raid last night on a shop suspected of selling alcohol illegally, confiscating over 100 cans and bottles of liquor in the process. The 24-year-old woman arrested at the location is currently being held as investigations are ongoing. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, emphasized that illegal liquor sales often lead to other criminal activities, and the police are focused on disrupting these unlawful markets.
