A woman has been taken into custody for allegedly selling alcohol without a license in Tacirua. Police officers from the Valelevu Police Station executed a raid last night at a shop suspected of illegal liquor sales, resulting in the confiscation of over 100 cans and bottles of alcohol. The 24-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and is currently in custody while investigations are ongoing.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu emphasized that such illegal activities often lead to further unlawful behavior, and that police operations are focused on disrupting these illegal markets.
