LICI Simplifies App Access: A Game Changer for Policyholders!

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) has introduced a new login process for its mobile app, “LICI FIJI,” to improve user experience. This update removes the requirement for usernames and passwords, allowing users to log in using just their email ID and a One Time Password (OTP).

Pradeep Shenoy, general manager of LICI Fiji, highlighted the user-friendly design of the app during the company’s 68th anniversary celebrations at their Suva headquarters. He emphasized that the updated login process is significantly simplified, making it easier for customers to access their information.

Users can now obtain a range of details about their insurance policies, including the start date, plan term, sum assured, premium amount, payment status, loan information, nomination details, and claims due. The app allows customers to conveniently view comprehensive policy information and any outstanding dues.

Additionally, the application includes a feature for generating quotes for LICI’s 13 different plans, along with detailed descriptions of each plan’s features.

Mr. Shenoy also announced that LICI has successfully digitized 70,000 physical files, totaling over 3.5 million pages. This substantial data conversion aims to eliminate previous service inefficiencies, enabling customers to manage their services and access information without relying on physical documents.

These initiatives, focused on app accessibility and record digitization, demonstrate LICI’s dedication to enhancing customer service and operational efficiency in the digital era, aligning with their 68th-anniversary celebrations this month.
