LICI Overhauls App Login for Ultimate User Convenience

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) has introduced a revamped login process for its mobile app, “LICI FIJI,” aimed at improving user experience. This new update allows users to access the app simply by entering their email ID along with a One Time Password (OTP), eliminating the need for usernames and passwords.

Pradeep Shenoy, general manager of LICI Fiji, highlighted the app’s enhanced user-friendliness during the company’s 68th anniversary celebrations at their headquarters in Suva. “The log in process of the free mobile app for LICI customers has recently been simplified,” Mr. Shenoy stated.

The application enables customers to access a wealth of information about their insurance policies, including details such as the policy start date, plan term, sum assured, premium amounts, payment status, loan details, and survival benefits.

Users can easily check their policy details and any outstanding payments. Additionally, the app includes a tool for generating quotes for any of LICI’s 13 plans, offering comprehensive information about each plan’s features.

Mr. Shenoy also revealed that LICI has completed the digitization of 70,000 physical files, which consist of more than 3.5 million pages. This significant move aims to enhance service efficiency, allowing customers to manage their information without the limitations posed by physical documents.

These initiatives—simplifying app access and transitioning to a paperless system—reflect LICI’s dedication to improving customer service and operational efficiency in this digital era, as part of their anniversary celebrations this month.
