LICI App Revamp: Say Goodbye to Usernames and Passwords!

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) has improved the login process for its mobile app, “LICI FIJI,” aiming to enhance user experience. The updated system removes the requirement for usernames and passwords, allowing users to log in using only their email address and a One Time Password (OTP).

During LICI’s 68th anniversary event at its Suva headquarters, general manager Pradeep Shenoy highlighted the app’s user-friendly design. He stated, “The log in process of the free mobile app for LICI customers, LICI FIJI, has recently been simplified and made very user friendly.”

Customers can now easily access a variety of information regarding their policies, such as policy start dates, plan terms, sum assured, premium amounts, payment status, loan details, nomination information, and more. This facilitates effortless management of their policy information and payment status at their convenience.

Additionally, the app includes a feature to generate quotes for LICI’s 13 different plans and offers detailed explanations of each plan’s benefits. Shenoy also mentioned that LICI has digitized 70,000 physical files, amounting to over 3.5 million pages. This significant data conversion initiative aims to streamline services and eliminate inefficiencies, allowing customers to manage their information without the limitations of physical paperwork.

The simultaneous efforts to simplify app access and digitize records illustrate LICI’s dedication to enhancing customer service and operational efficiency in a digital environment, coinciding with their 68th anniversary celebrations this month.
