LICI App Goes Password-Free: Discover the New User-Friendly Experience!

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) has introduced an updated login process for its free mobile app, “LICI FIJI,” aimed at enhancing user experience. The new system replaces the previous requirement for usernames and passwords with a more straightforward login process that utilizes an email ID and One Time Password (OTP) verification.

During LICI’s 68th anniversary celebrations at the Suva head office, general manager Pradeep Shenoy highlighted the app’s improved simplicity and user-friendliness. He noted that customers will now have easy access to a wide range of information regarding their policies, including the policy commencement date, plan term, sum assured, premium amounts, details of any unpaid premiums, loan availability, nomination details, survival benefit date, maturity claims, and more.

Now, customers can easily view comprehensive policy information at their convenience alongside any outstanding dues. Additionally, the app includes a feature that generates quotes for any of LICI’s 13 plans, along with detailed descriptions of these plans.

Mr. Shenoy also announced that LICI has successfully digitized 70,000 physical files, which amounts to over 3.5 million pages. This significant move aims to eliminate previous service inefficiencies, allowing customers to access their information and manage services without the limitations of physical paperwork.

These initiatives to simplify app access and digitize records highlight LICI’s dedication to enhancing customer service and operational efficiency in the digital era, marking a significant aspect of their 68th anniversary celebration this month.
