Lelean Memorial School has achieved a significant milestone by clinching a gold medal in the senior boys 4x100m final at the Triple N Zone Athletics competition, despite officially finishing in second place. The victory comes after Nakasi High School, which crossed the finish line first, was disqualified due to a mishap during their second baton exchange, surpassing the allowed mark.

With this latest accolade, the Nausori-based school is poised to be crowned champions in the boys’ division, further solidifying its reputation in athletics. Both Lelean and Nakasi High School have demonstrated remarkable athleticism and are expected to be prominent contenders at the upcoming Fiji Finals later this month.

The Fiji Finals is scheduled to take place from April 24 to 26 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, promising an exciting culmination of this year’s athletic events. Fans will be able to follow all the action live on FBC Sports, ensuring a thrilling atmosphere for supporters of all participating schools.

This latest achievement by Lelean Memorial School not only showcases the emerging talent within Fiji’s youth athletics program but also reinforces the positive impact of competitive sports in fostering school spirit and community engagement. The anticipation for the Fiji Finals creates an uplifting atmosphere, highlighting the dedication and hard work of these young athletes as they continue to inspire future generations in the sporting arena.
