LEADERSHIP Fiji has established a new partnership with SynBiz Solutions Pte Limited aimed at providing improved payroll services through a cloud-based system known as SmoothPay. This agreement, formalized by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), underscores the shared values and commitment between the two organizations, as emphasized by Leadership Fiji CEO Sharyne Fong.
Fong highlighted that this collaboration is particularly valuable as Leadership Fiji approaches its 25th anniversary in 2026. Partnering with a company like SynBiz, which specializes in managing cloud-based systems including popular platforms like Xero and QuickBooks, aligns well with Leadership Fiji’s operational goals. Fong stated, “We value partnerships such as this as we lead up to commemorating our 25th Anniversary.”
Rajendra Singh, co-founder and managing director of SynBiz, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that the payroll solution saves time, ensures compliance, and allows organizations to focus on their core mission and their teams. This sentiment reflects SynBiz’s dedication to supporting businesses in the Pacific region, which it has served since its inception in 2018. The company’s presence has expanded from a local to a regional consulting firm, with operations in multiple Pacific nations.
The MOU was officially signed last Friday, marking a significant step forward in both organizations’ efforts to improve operational efficiency and leadership development in their respective sectors.
This partnership not only represents a strategic collaboration for Leadership Fiji but also holds the potential to bring substantial benefits to various businesses in the Pacific as they adapt to modern payroll solutions and improve their overall operations. The commitment to collaboration and technological advancement in human resources is a hopeful step for the future of business leadership in the region.
