BLK Lavidi Brothers triumphed in a thrilling final at the Brimstone 7s tournament, securing a 29-14 victory over Tabadamu at Thomson Park in Navua yesterday.
Team captain Sefanaia Vuli expressed his pride in the players’ commitment and hard work throughout the season. “Our players fought hard to earn their place on the team, and their discipline truly paid off during the competition,” Vuli stated.
He highlighted the significance of rigorous training at the grassroots level to identify and develop local talent capable of representing Fiji on an international platform. Vuli also appreciated the support of fans and families who rallied behind the team, along with gratitude towards their coach and sponsor, BLK.
Looking forward, the team is gearing up to defend their title at the upcoming Fiji Bitter Kadavu 7s tournament.
In the women’s final, Lilian Amazon claimed victory over Seahawks with a score of 24-17.
